To ensure that your canine companion has a safe space for play, each of our Play Coordinators are certified in pet CPR and educated on styles of play, signs of stress in animals, and how to best balance play and rest time for an optimal visit.

Pre-Play Consultations
Your pet’s first visit using one of our Play Packs includes a consultation with our Play team to make sure their time at Heart + Paw Callowhill, Philadelphia is safe and fun for every pup. This includes one on one time for your dog with a Play Team Member. This allows us the opportunity to get to know your dog, learn their unique behaviors, and practice a slow integration with other experienced dogs. After that, we’ll move in small steps towards full integration with the main Play group. At the end of our consultation, we provide you with a review on how they did, a behavior assessment, group and frequency recommendation, and basic training tips.
Clean and Inviting
Play Team is on it! We know how important having a clean Play environment is for the health of your pup. To ensure this, we use top of the line K9 grass, a full drainage system that allows for immediate flow through of liquids, daily sterilization and doggie toilets for solid waste. Exit baths are available upon request to keep even the most active of dogs fresh.
