Glen Mills

Helen J Schaefer, NCMG, CCE Master Stylist/ Stylist Services Specialist
Helen has been grooming cats and dogs for over 15 years. She is an Internationally award-winning competitive groomer, grooming industry speaker and educator, and a popular grooming competition judge. She is a member of Groom Team USA, and finished 3rd overall and first in the gundog category in the nation for 2021
Helen holds many advanced styling skills from Creative Touches to hand stripping as well as having completed multiple certificate course on geriatric dogs, Asian Fusion Grooming, Animal Behavior and Handling Skills.
In addition to Grooming at Glen Mills Helen also plays a vital role in the operations department as a Style Services Specialist. Helen is responsible for helping to shape Heart + Paw stylists and style specific policies.
When not working Helen can be found traveling the country competing or hanging at home doing DIY projects or playing with her personal pets.

Darien Boyer, CVT Certified Veterinary Technician
I started in vet med while in high-school around 2015. Since then, I’ve worked at a few vet hospitals expanding my knowledge and skills. I became licensed in 2020 and have enjoyed continuing to learn through various Continuing Education opportunities. I’m Fear Free certified, an AAHA Certified Diabetes Educator, and am currently working to become Feline Friendly certified. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats at home (all rescues), as well as a blue tongue skink. In my free time I enjoy attending car shows and working on my 2 Volkswagens in addition to spending time with my pets and family.

Tara Stevens, Fear Free Certified Shift Lead
Tara has been working for Heart + Paw since June 2021. She has had cats and dogs her whole life and has been working in the Veterinary field since 2017. Starting out as a receptionist, she has continued her career path with Heart + Paw and has joined the veterinary side as a Veterinary Assistant last December. She has now assumed the role of Shift Lead which means she is able to help out with all departments, do anything/everything she can to help her Heart + Paw team and to help provide the best care for our patients and clients. Tara lives with her boyfriend and their 2 cats, Kiki and Luna. She enjoys going to the beach, escaping up to the Pocono mountains to see family, scuba diving and playing video games.

Ashley Goodworth Play Coordinator
Ashley has been working for Heart + Paw since September 2019. She has always love dogs since she was little and knew she wanted to be around dogs for her whole life. Dogs are her passion. This is her first job working as a dog daycare attendant. She loves hanging out with the daycare dogs and creating relationships with them. She can say some of the dogs are obsessed with her and loves being around her. She likes being able to create connections with their owners because they appreciate her for taking care of their dogs every day. She has three dogs name, Maya, Chloe, and Phoenix. She enjoys going to the beach, doing outdoor activities such as hiking and camping, and loves to relax at home with her dogs.
