I lost my fiancé to cancer few months back and I promised I would take care of his 3 senior dogs (all 3 related). ... Everyone at the center has been kind, informative, and KIND. Marietta was very informative on the phone (a beautiful soul inside and out). I’m grateful I found Animal Medical Center of Centereach. Dr. Pancari (a lovely young Doctor) didn’t do unnecessary testing and was fair with everything. Professional, trustworthy, and kind. If that’s important to you, try them and you won’t be sorry.read more

Do not bring your loving pets to this place. Behind doors it is a reck. I know because i used to work there and its not... about that. They literally dropped a dog on its head one time while sedated and didnt say a thing to the owner. They rush awake dogs from sleeping from surgery it’s ridiculous. While taking an x ray they slammed the dog on its back TRUST ME IM NOT LYING GO SOMEWHERE ELSE HE IS ALSO A MAD MAN TREATS WORKERS LIKE DOGS AND FIRES AND RE HIRES ANYONE OFF THE STREET I REALLY FEEL BAD FOR THE ANIMALS THAY GO THEREread more

3/22 - Just a fresh reminder that this facility abuses and neglects animals to the point of causing death.Original... Review:This place offers spay/neuter for feral cats. We brought in a cat that was semi feral (a year old - we’ve been feeding her since she was a kitten). She ripped her stitches and we brought her back in. When I picked her up this evening - she was dead. They kept her in the small carrier all day with the w collar so tight around her neck we believe she chocked to death. I’m devastated. They didn’t even know she was dead when they handed me the carrier until I called when I got home. No one checked on her all day apparently.read more

Please read the photos from a prior employee/ patron of this animal hospital at your discretion. What happens behind... closed doors is a nightmare & I truly do not believe anyone who cares about their pet would go to this location after reading this. Please also see the Yelp reviews, as many people can confirm these claims. As a pet lover myself, I share this in hopes for the best possible outcome for everyone’s pet in their time of need. There are too many red flags here to ignore. DO YOUR RESEARCH. I know appointment times can be tough but is the wait worth your pet suffering needlessly?read more

Called on a Friday for my dog, Her scratching was out of control. The receptionist got me in the very next morning. Saw... the doctor right away he gave her a full exam. He diagnosed her with a severe allergic reaction, gave her a shot and some omega for her food. Never tried to give me unnecessary treatments. Just straight up professionalism. Thank you all. Came in to schedule my dog for surgery (spay and mammary tumor removal), and wanted to ask a few questions on my way... out. The receptionist I was talking to took a personal call during our conversation and I never got answers to half of my questions! 15 minutes I stood there before another receptionist noticed me and just told me I could leave. Also a few weeks after getting my dog's staples removed, we found about four staples that they outright missed. Overall I found them to be very unprofessional and I will not be coming back.read more
