The best for the best. My dog struggles with anxiety which affects her allowing us to cut nails, clean ears, etc. Dr.... Lynn and her team have been incredible with both me and my dog. I’ve never felt alone or helpless, Dr. Lynn will stay in close contact over call and text to work with us in laying out a ton of different scenarios and things to try. A backup plan for our backup plan. She is understanding and kind to the point where I genuinely feel cared for and supported. Everytime I leave the office I think to myself how happy I am to have chosen H+P with Dr. Lynn and the amazing staff. I honestly couldn’t recommend highly enough.read more

I could not be happier with the grooming they did for my Mackenzie, I have been looking for a new groomer for sometime... now, having some issues with past groomers not treating our dogs well, cutting entirely too much fur off, paying for services and not getting them done. When I pick up my dog she looked perfect. was happy and full of energy.read more

This is the most caring, professional, pet-centric veterinary office I've ever had the good fortune to know.Every... step of the way, this office works to keep their patients as comfortable and relaxed as possible. They have pet friendly waiting rooms. I didn't even know these were an option until I brought my cat here. Rather than waiting in a large lobby with lots of other pets in crates—a stressful experience for any pet—this office immediately sends me back to a private room where I can let my cat out of his carrier. He can wander, he can sniff, he can even hide under a chair if that's his preference. He has time to acclimate to the sights and smells of this new place so he feels safer during the appointment. When the vets come in, they take their cues from my cat to minimize stress. If he feels safer in his carrier, they let him stay there as long as possible, performing a good chunk of the exam by gently reaching in and taking his heart rate, temperature, etc. If he's content sitting on the floor, they won't automatically bring him up to the stainless steel exam table; instead, they'll join him on the floor to help him stay relaxed.Let me say that again. I have now met many highly trained medical professionals who choose to SIT ON THE FLOOR to make my cat feel safe. It's less convenient for them, and certainly less comfortable, but it makes a world of difference in my cat's care. The cherry on the cake is the care and timethey take talking with me to ensure I understand diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and any next steps. When I've had follow-up questions, I've never had difficulty connecting with a doctor over phone or email to figure out the answer.I've even decided against a move across the city because I love this place so much. I don't think I can offer higher praise than that.(P.S. They have an app that makes scheduling appointments really easy!)read more

Couldn’t be more happy! Thank you for being ever so accommodating with my little munchkin. My cat is not a fan of the... vets, but they took such great care of her with gentle hands. They let my cat have time to settle in before being handled, and were very clear on recommendations and procedures. Thank you Heart and Paw for being a safe place for my munchkin!read more

Our dog Lacey loves going to daycare at Heart + Paw! She has separation anxiety when we leave her home alone so... bringing her to doggie daycare is the perfect way to keep her happy and having fun while we’re at work. The staff is great and they really care about the dogs. It’s nice to be able to add on a bath or nail trim as needed with their grooming services. We also love getting pictures from the staff of Lacey having fun at daycare during the day. I highly recommend Heart + Paw!read more

Dr. Lynn at Heart & Paw in Philly is the best vet I’ve ever had. Super smart, a great communicator, and very kind. I... have a sweet older cat with various health problems. Dr. Lynn always accurately diagnoses the problem and then treats her using the most effective but least traumatic approach possible. I would not take my cat anyplace else.read more

I really love the entire crew at Heart and Paw. We groom our dog there, as well as see the vet and it’s such an amazing... experience either way. I really feel like our dog is in good loving hands while he’s there. I hope they find away to extend their services to include boarding so I could have the same peace of mind if I ever have to leave my best friend over night.Thank you to the entire crew there for being so amazing.read more

Overall it was a decent experience. The office was very efficient and my puppy received 2 of his shots and had his... nails trimmed within 30-40 minutes. It was a curbside drop off so I did not go inside or meet the vet in person, however I was called frequently and given updates over the phone. The tech who greeted us at the door was also super friendly! My only complaint is that one of his nails was cut way too short - it resulted in bleeding and some sensitivity afterwards.read more

I was looking for a place to get my dog’s first haircut and luckily Heart + Paw (East Market) was able to squeeze me in... just right before the holidays! I was extremely nervous since my dog is an extremely anxious little guy, but the staff at Heart + Paw made me feel at ease the second I walked in! Caitlin (Finn’s groomer) did an excellent job informing me about what to expect with his Finn’s trim and was extremely patient and kind when it came to addressing any of my concerns! The entire staff is just so kind to all and cares so much for the pets that walk in, I will definitely be coming back to Heart + Paw (East Market) for Finn‘s next haircut!read more

Caitlin did an amazing job with my Yorkie! She was so sweet & did a excellent scissor cut on her face. The business was... modern, clean and I felt very comfortable leaving my pup in their hands. As I was picking up my dog I even saw one of the employees comforting & hugging a dog that was visibly nervous as Caitlin came out to give me my pup. They all seem to really care about the animals they work with. Will definitely be going back!read more

I have to say, the best vet going! I had been to 2 other places before and they couldn't treat my sweet boy saying he... was too aggressive. His only issue was ear infections and he didn't want to let the vets near his ears. Heart & Paw went the extra mile to figure out how to keep him calm and his ears finally are healed after a year of trying. He actually looks forward to going! I love them and will go nowhere else!read more

I took my dog here after she was not feeling well for a couple of days. A vet from Chewy and the nurse from Heart + Paw... stated her symptoms seemed like the result of parasites. The veterinarian recommended an x-ray and made it seem like the FOOD in her stomach was "foreign matter" leaving me to believe my 1.5 year old dog required a $5k surgery. The nurse knew she had consumed treats and had not used the bathroom prior to our visit and was taking notes as she asked questions. We spent 3 hours here and the vet lead me to believe I needed to leave our appointment and find an emergency vet to perform the surgery by morning. She told me I could apply for Care Credit for the $5k surgery. Luckily I asked to see the x-ray images; when I asked if the images may have been the food in her stomach, the vet's demeanor shifted. She replied "possibly, but you will need to bring her in first thing in the morning to take more x-rays."I scheduled Bailey's appointment here because I thought I could trust your providers. The staff knows her by name and she started attending the daycare when she was less than 6 months old.I was completely taken advantage of and I am very disappointed.Thankfully I didn't leave and find an emergency vet to get an unnecessary surgery done.Find a veterinarian you can trust for your best friend!read more
