Helen Schaefer
Stylist
Helen is a successful competitive groomer, nationally ranked (2017/18) and NCMG. Over the span of her almost 15-year career she has done everything from Housecall and Corporate to Mobile Grooming. She is the former owner of the award-winning The Groom Studio whose slogan, “Where every dog is a work of Art” has become Helen’s personal mantra.
Jessica Copeland
Stylist
Jessica Copeland has more than 15 years of grooming experience! Jessica is a proud mother of 3 children and was born and raised in Downingtown, PA. Jessica attended CAT Pickering for animal sciences. After graduation she became a bather at PetSmart and after a few short months was sent through their academy program. Jessica prides herself on attention to detail and low-stress handling techniques. Some of her proudest moments as a groomer are winning the trust of fearful and nervous pets. When not grooming, Jessica enjoys taking in nature, especially near a body of water she can fish from. Jessica says, "It still feels like yesterday, I cannot imagine another career that I would feel as passionate about as I did that first day 16 years ago." Jessica is most passionate about de-shed and terrier type grooms.
Alyssa Ruch
Stylist
Alyssa Ruch has been grooming for more than 3 years! She started in the petcare industry as a daycare attendant, but soon found herself hanging out more and more in the salon. Deciding to take the plunge into professional pet styling, she attended the Pennsylvania School of Dog Grooming. She continued to develop her skills for a few years at Applebrook Inn, and most recently was head groomer at Earthwise. Alyssa enjoys grooming doodles and other curly coated dogs and looks forward to continuing to expand her skill set at Heart + Paw and begin work toward her Master Groomer Certification. When not grooming, Alyssa enjoys hiking and being in nature and is the proud pet parent of a Shichon.
Dani Hall
Stylist
Dani has been a groomer for 5 years. She specializes in breed cuts. At home, she has a cat named Waffles, a bunny named Momo, and two bearded dragons named Sunny and Marly.
Ash Souder
Stylist
Ash has been working with dogs for 3 years and has been grooming for a year. Ash's handling style is empathetic and compassionate. Grooming dogs with fears and behavioral concerns is a big passion of theirs. Ash also specializes in handstripping and has experience with a variety of wire-coated breeds. Continuing education is very important to them ensuring all clients and dogs are more than thrilled with not only the haircut but the experience as a whole.
