Meet Your Harbor Animal Hospital Team

Dr. Holly Brown DVM
Dr Holly Brown joined the Harbor Animal Hospital team on October 4. Dr Brown graduated from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine, in 2010 and has been working in small animal and shelter medicine since graduation. She is currently working on her MBA with an entrepreneurship concentration and her canine rehabilitation certification. Dr Brown has a strong interest in feline medicine, physical rehabilitation, pain management, and animal behavior.
Dr Brown is actively involved in the Rhode Island Veterinary Medical Association and is also a member of the Massachusetts and American Veterinary Medical Associations and the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, hiking, knitting, reading, gardening, and has a plant buying addiction. She shares her home with her son, dog named Merlot, 2 cats named Wrecks and Theodore, and chinchilla named Miss Jeffrey.

Dr. Grace Park DVM
Dr. Park forged her powerful bond with non-human animals as a child growing up in Norwalk, CT with her family and a special cat called Samantha. After an early interest in art and music, she went on to earn Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, then a Veterinary Medical degree from Colorado State University.
Missing her family and the ocean, Dr. Park returned to the East Coast where she began to practice in New Jersey. She went on to practice in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and now Rhode Island. In addition to her full-time work, Dr. Park has spent many vacation days over the years volunteering with spay/neuter clinics in Mexico as well as with local charity groups.
Dr. Park is committed to animal welfare and health and has a deep respect for all living things. Her areas of special clinical interest are preventive medicine, dentistry, surgery, geriatric care and pain management.
Dr. Park and her husband share their home with their adopted furry children, Lion and Roland, as well as several fishes.
“I feel that our pets are special members of the family and that my role as a companion animal veterinarian is to partner with pet parents to offer comprehensive, life-long care for these very special, very loved, non-human family members. I chose Heart and Paw because of a shared commitment to growth and a philosophy that nurtures an environment where staff, clients and even patients can feel heard and respected.”

Nina Groomer
Nina joined Heart + Paw in July 2022 as one of our expert Pet Stylists. Originally from Sherborn, MA, Nina was looking for a career change after working for over 20 years in hairdressing and cosmetology. She wanted to take her passion for hairdressing and apply it to her love of pets. After training with our Heart + Paw lead stylist, she was excited for the opportunity to join the team at Harbor Animal Hospital in her new role!
Nina strives to incorporate her knowledge and skill as a Pet Stylist to her clients by offering full grooming services in a low-stress environment your pet will love. She works with every pet as an individual, taking into consideration client requests and their pet's needs. Proper product selection, bathing technique, and haircut style are priorities for Nina in working with our pets at Harbor Animal Hospital. Every pet is hand-dried and worked with one-on-one to reduce anxiety and ensure they enjoy their style experience.
Outside of work, Nina enjoys spending time with friends and family including her dog, Rocky.
