The Importance of Routine Wellness Care for Your Cats
Regular check-ups allow you to be sure that your cat is in good health. While getting your cat to the vet can sometimes be the hardest part, the guidelines outlined by the AAHA and AVMA do recommend that all cats receive a full examination at least once a year. Visits may need to be more frequent based on individual needs or health concerns.
Preventive exams should include a look at your cat’s daily activities, general behavior and diet, as well as a full physical examination, including a dental assessment, pain assessment, and body condition scoring.
