Dr. Abbie Beahm Partner Doctor | Amberwood Veterinary Hospital

Dr. Abbie Beahm is a small animal veterinarian with a passion for exotics. From a young age, Abbie knew she wanted to be a veterinarian and provide care for many species! Abbie loves seeing small mammals and has a soft spot for reptiles. Abbie attended Dordt College (now University) and graduated with her bachelor’s in Agriculture: Animal Science. After graduation, Abbie attended Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. While she was in veterinary school, she completed an additional program from the Chi Institute (now University) and earned her Certificate in Veterinary Acupuncture (CVA). Abbie enjoys spending time with her husband and kids when she is not working. She has horses, goats, chickens, two dachshunds, a bearded dragon, and a ball python.
