Dr. Isabela Marmolejo Partner Doctor | Heart + Paw Lake Hopatcong

Dr. Isabela Marmolejo (also known as “Dr. Izzie”) earned her doctorate in veterinary medicine from Ross University and completed her clinical training at Texas A&M University. She has been a life-long animal lover of all shapes and sizes – her original intent was to become a zoological veterinarian. However, during her clinical year, she gained a profound interest in various aspects of small animal medicine including surgery, internal medicine, neurology, and cardiology. ​

Dr. Marmolejo feels being a general practitioner combines all her passions into one field while having the ability to give back to the community by providing the highest quality care for the most adorable of family members. ​

On a day when she is not at work, you can catch Dr. Marmolejo hiking along the trails of Northern New Jersey with her best buddy, Oliver (Golden Retriever). They enjoy anything related to the outdoors together – she wishes she could teach him how to snowboard!​
