Dr. Melissa Stinger DVM | Mid-Atlantic

Dr. Stinger comes from the beautiful country of Brazil, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Universidade Potiguar (UNP). After graduation, she gained experience as an urgent care veterinarian in Brazil before relocating to the United States. To align with the high standards of the American veterinary profession, she pursued the Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG) program, successfully achieving degree equivalence. In the U.S., Dr. Stinger launched her career as a general practitioner and emergency veterinarian. She is currently furthering her expertise by pursuing a certification in Canine Rehabilitation. Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Stinger enjoys spending quality time with her family and their two beloved dogs: a Golden Retriever named Marshmallow and a Bernese Mountain Dog named Moose.
