Dr. Natasja DeFiores DVM | Bethlehem Veterinary Hospital
Originally from Binghamton, NY, Dr. Natasja had a strong love and appreciation for companion animals and the human-animal bond from a young age. It was her dream from childhood to one day become a Veterinarian and provide care for animals in need. After an undergraduate program at Cornell University in Biology, she joined the Peace Corps and spent several months living and volunteering in Namibia in Sub-Saharan Africa. She loved her time in Namibia so much that she returned for a Summer during Vet school to work with cheetahs at the Cheetah Conservation Fund. While she loves all animals, dogs and cats are her biggest joy and she decided to pursue companion animal care. After graduating from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018, she relocated with her husband and dogs (two Pit Bulls and one little Beagle!) to the Capital District. A move in 2023 brought her closer to Albany and she is so excited to explore the area and make it her home. Her hobbies include gardening, playing with her dogs, and traveling the world with her husband.
