Dr. Steven Kelly Associate Doctor | Heart + Paw Callowhill

Dr. Steven Kelly first became interested in veterinary medicine after his freshman year at The College of New Jersey. He worked as a kennel staff member at a small animal veterinary hospital during summer break and he fell in love with veterinary medicine. After graduating from The College of New Jersey, he went on to receive his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Kelly decided to stay in Philadelphia following veterinary school and joined Heart + Paw in 2023. His clinical interests include soft tissue surgery, orthopedics, and dermatology. In his spare time, Dr. Kelly enjoys traveling with his fiancé Meghan, sampling some of the many fine craft beer breweries in Philadelphia, playing sports, running, and playing with his Pit Bull Bindi and cat Pickles. Dr. Kelly is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association.
