Dr. Tara Thompson DVM | Wyoming Veterinary Clinic

Dr. Tara Thompson was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, and she is a 2015 graduate of The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine.

She lived in North Carolina after graduating from veterinary school and is moving back to Ohio to be closer to family, although she will miss the mild winters very much. She has been in small animal general practice since graduating, and currently her favorite area of veterinary medicine is soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Thompson joined her previous hospital in March 2018, and had been the lead doctor there since February 2020. She is excited to lead here at Wyoming Veterinary Clinic, and her goal for the hospital is to provide the highest standard of care for the beloved pets that come through our door and to make each client feel like family.

She lives with her husband, her German shepherd Raul, her two labs Oakley and Ivy, and her orange tabby cat Kiwo. She enjoys reading, biking, and spending time with family.
