Dr. Walter Orth VMD | Atlantic Veterinary Service
Dr. Orth is a native of the state of Delaware and has been practicing Veterinary Medicine since 1997. He earned his veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He has had an affinity for the eastern shore since his parents started bringing him there as a young child.
He has a strong interest in many aspects of animal medicine but has a particularly strong passion for preventive medicine. He currently holds diplomate status in the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine.
Dr. Orth is a decorated member of the U.S. Army Reserve and has deployed to Afghanistan. He feels that giving back to his country is an important part of his life and he is dedicated to balancing his service in the U.S. Army Reserve and his service to Atlantic Veterinary Services pets and families.
Dr. Orth has many hobbies (too many if you ask his wife) including martial arts, motorcycling, camping and scale model building. He has practiced martial arts since 1984 and has given demonstrations in Japan on several occasions. He camps with his wife and pets and has taken the motorhome up and down the entire east coast.
