Lauren Ampe Center Director | Mid-Atlantic Veterinary Hospital

Lauren is originally from Long Island, New York (Go Yankees!) and has lived in many different states traveling with her husband who is a reining horse trainer. She has lived in Arizona, Illinois, North Carolina, South Carolina, Massachusetts, and now Maryland. Lauren graduated from Cazenovia College with a degree in Equine Business Management in 2008. She started her career working at an Equine breeding and training facility but moved into small animals in 2012. Lauren loves working for Heart + Paw because she can do what she does best every day – lead an amazing team and provide excellent care to our patients.

In her free time Lauren travels the country to horse shows with her husband, 2 children, and 2 Australian Shepherds Hopper & Lucky. At home are her 4 horses and cat Moana. Besides horses, Lauren loves photography and relaxing on the beach!
