Microchips greatly increase the chances of pets being reunited with their families should they get lost or stolen, although it only works if the registration information is accurate.

It is important to make an appointment to have your pet microchipped if they aren’t already. However, if they are, check your pet’s microchip registration information to ensure that it is accurate. If you want to update your pet’s registration information, you’ll need their microchip number. In addition to this, you’ll also need to have an already created account with the manufacturer. When updating your pet’s information, make sure everything, including your phone number and home address, are correct.
