Heart + Paw Responds to Seresto Collars Article in USA Today

On March 2, USA Today posted an article regarding Seresto flea collars linked to 1,700 pet deaths. At Heart + Paw and all of our partner practices, we take articles like this very seriously and understand your concerns. Chief Veterinary Officer and Co-founder, Dr. George Melillo made an official statement on behalf of the company on March 3rd.

As you may have seen, USA Today ran an article raising concerns about Seresto collars being associated with pet deaths.  We have contacted our Elanco partners for more information about this article.  We will be sharing that information with our hospitals as we learn more.  In the meantime, your veterinarian is the best source of information on what you should or should not do regarding use of any parasite control collar or any other pet related product.-Dr. George Melillo
