Heart + Paw Prevention Plan FAQs Explore our answers to common questions about our Prevention Plans
What is a Prevention Plan?
A Prevention Plan is one year of health and wellness care customized to your pet’s needs. It’s the best way to get affordable preventative care for your pet.
What makes Heart + Paw Prevention Plans different?
We believe that you shouldn’t settle for a one-size-fits all wellness plan for your cat or dog. No two pets are the same. That’s why our veterinarians take the time to get to know your furry family member, so that they can recommend the right service options to include in your Prevention Plan and meet your pet’s health needs.
Are there savings on services with a Prevention Plan?
Yes! You receive savings on included and excluded from your Prevention Plan, plus unlimited tech visits! You can pay for your plan by annually, quarterly, or monthly to fit your budget!
Do indoor cats really need routine preventive care?
Absolutely! We recommend that cats get a full check-up at least once a year. In addition to routine wellness exams, cat-specific Prevention Plans can include vaccinations, feline leukemia testing, flea and tick prevention, and many other vet services as needed.
How do I get a Prevention Plan?
Schedule an appointment with your local Heart + Paw. We’ll take a look at your pet and discuss recommended services to include in your plan.
