Scholarship Opportunities

H+p Vet Tech

About the Samantha Rae Hill Scholarship Fund

Once a year, the Samantha Rae Hill Scholarship Fund offers one team member at each location a full scholarship to become an accredited veterinary technician. In partnership with Penn Foster College, Heart + Paw created the Samantha Rae Hill Scholarship Fund, named in honor of our beloved team member and certified veterinary technician who tragically passed away in early 2022. Her passion for pets, and her love of veterinary medicine and her Heart + Paw family made her so special to all who knew her. Heart + Paw is honored to be able to offer this scholarship to help others pursue their passion.

Penn Foster Certification Support Program

Heart + Paw’s partnership with Penn Foster College also provides discounted tuition rates to Heart + Paw employees that would like to participate in the Veterinary Technician Associate Degree program. Penn Foster has full Accreditation with the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and is one of only a few AVMA-CVTEA accredited distance learning programs in the country. The program allows you to pursue your degree and obtain clinical experience on-the-job. It also provides a developmental path for veterinary team members to grow as health care providers for pets and their pet parents.
